VIDEO: "Ladies and Gentleman... Love Is The Only Thing That Can Save Us All"

It's been 1 year since I traveled to South Africa to work on Jay Electronica's "Act II: Patents of Nobility (The Turn)", but I remember it like it was yesterday. South Africa is quite possibly one of the most incredible places I've been in my life. When I stepped off the plane, the air greeted me and said, "Welcome home". The South African people from Mafikeng (Mmabatho), to Cape Town to Johannesburg were also very welcoming. I really enjoyed meeting the people and participating in a traditional South African "brai" and eating some of the native foods, such as Pap (grits) & Boerewors (sausage). I was well taken care of. The highlights of the trip were of course being in the studio. It was here that I met a huge inspiration of mine... Jeymes Samuel of The Bullitts. He's one of the most incredible people I've ever met in my life. Jeymes is one of the greatest visionaries that the world will ever know. His music and film production are outstanding. I applaud him. I also made music with another inspiration of mine. Om'mas Keith of SA-RA Creative Partners. Get to learn his music. He's worked with some of the very best in the industry. I also worked closely with Denaun Porter who's a great producer as well. Now, on to LaTonya Givens, or Tone Trezure as most of the world knows her as. She amazed everyone on the trip as she usually does whervever she goes. Her voice and her music are amazing. She's a drummer, producer, bassist, vocalist and engineer. If you name it, Tone does it!!!!! The video above is one of Tone's magical moments. Her gift is always shining. Enjoy.
